Preparation Method:
Generally, 3-Amino-3-(5-methyl-2-furyl)propanoic acid can be synthesized by the following steps:
1.5-methyl furan -2-carbaldehyde is reacted with methyl ring amine to generate N-methyl -5-methyl furan -2-methyl amine.
2. N-methyl-5-methylfuran-2-methylamine is reacted with methyl succinate to produce N-methyl-3-(5-methylfuran-2-yl) malonimide.
3. Finally, N-methyl -3-(5-methylfuran-2-yl) malonimide is reacted with ammonia water to generate 3-Amino-3-(5-methyl-2-furyl)propanoic acid.
